Neville Brayley

Surveyor-General Victoria

After graduation Neville obtained his License in Victoria in 1983, working throughout south west Victoria.  He owned and operated the rural survey practice of Brayley & Hayes Pty. Ltd. for 26 years until sold in 2010.  Throughout this period, he undertook many surveys along the rivers, creeks and coastline of the Western District, continually building upon his knowledge of natural boundaries.

In 2008 Neville and his wife moved to Darwin where he undertook cadastral surveys across the Northern Territory.  This allowed him to gain a broader understanding of a different land tenure system compared to Victoria - and have a damn good look around!

Mid 2016 he was employed with Surveyor-General Victoria.  Still active in the field, he continues to “go bush”, doing cadastral surveys all over the State.

Neville is also an examiner for the Surveyor’s Registration Board of Victoria, specialising in Rural Projects, also providing detailed guidance at various workshops and forums.
