In an age of digital disruption, globalisation and a rapidly changing environment, diverse and inclusive workforces are fundamental to ensuring our relevance and value in the future. Australian and global research reinforces that diversity and inclusion brings opportunity, creativity, a wider range of skills, better collaboration, increased innovation and better decision-making. Are these benefits our industry would like to realise? If this is of interest then please attend the SEASC 2019 Darwin forum on “Diversity and Inclusion”. This open forum will provide an overview of what diversity and inclusion is, the status of diversity in our surveying profession, the challenges and benefits, and actions you can take to make a difference. Presenters will be from our industry, and include some key individuals who have embraced diversity and made a difference.
