Workshop - Drone Photogrammetry

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to undertake a basic photogrammetric workflow to process photography captured by an off the shelf drone using readily available software. Products created will include high spatial resolution orthomosaics and 3D point clouds.

Topics covered will include:
- Image acquisition including flight planning, ground control, tips for optimal results and pitfalls to avoid
- Processing workflows including image selection, processing parameters and editing
- Analysis to turn data into information
- Important things to consider when using drones for work

Participants will need to bring their own laptop. Prior to workshop participants will be informed of what software they need to load up.
